This trail loops through an area that got its name after a devastating fire in 1925. Along the way you'll visit three very pretty waterfalls.

Graveyard fields Trail is normally a loop trail stating from the path at the right side of the parking area. The trail

As of May 2007. part of the trail being repaired and is closed for several months. To see all three waterfalls
requires some backtracking so the hike will be a little longer then when it is done as a loop. Still, it's a rewarding
excursion.
While the right hand path is closed, enter the trail from the left end of the parking lot. The trail descends through
the woods and soon you"ll cross a bridge. Just beyond the bridge there is an intersection. Upper Falls is the left
and the other two are to the right.
Turn left and follow this trail for about a mile. It climbs toward the end and soon you"ll find yourself at the bottom of
a cascading falls. There are several large boulders that offer perfect spots to eat a snack and enjoy looking at the
Upper Falls.
Return to the intersection where earlier you turned left. Continue straight ahead to Second Falls. A spur trail will
take you to Yellowstone Falls. Then, backtrack to the intersection, turn left and cross the bridge. The parking area
is just ahead.
Directions to trailhead: From the main entrance to Lake Toxaway Estates on Hwy.64, go east 8 miles to SR 215.
At Headwater Outfitters, turn left. Go 17 miles to the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Turn left under the
