From the parking area cross the bridge over Little River (be careful). Follow the signs at steps. At the bottom turn
right, then right onto Galax Trail at the top of the hill there's a picnic shelter.

Directions to trailhead: From the main entrance to Lake Toxaway Estates on Hwy 64, go to Brevard. At the far
end of town, turn right to stay on Hwy 64 heading toward Hendersonville. Go 4.2 miles and turn on DuPont Road. It
changes names to Straton Road. At the bottom of a long downhill just before a bridge, there's a parking area on
the right.
